MAKSI is run and owned by two sisters, Nana Darkoa Sekyiamah (Head of Business Development) and Abynnah Sekyiamah (Head of Creative Concepts). 

 

Nana Darkoa’s experience includes co-founding and running Southern Narrative and Compelling Success in the United Kingdom, as well as a professional background in Communications, Performance Coaching and Leadership Training.

 

Abynnah is a self-trained designer who has a passion for styling, design and clothing. 

 

A highly successful launch at the plush African Regent Hotel in Accra, Ghana on the 27th of November 2009 introduced the exciting designs of MAKSI to the Ghanaian market and to a larger international space.
